Babes and Danes...

Late December marked the arrival of a new life on this earth. Natan Toth, the third son of Miro and Marta, our church planters in Nitra. Early January we had the baby dedication... He is way cute and has had some pretty powerful things spoken over his life. We're all excited as to what this new life will bring to this earth!

A week ago I left Slovakia for the green nation of Denmark. In November, you might remember, we had a team from the Bible School come to Nitra for a few days of school outreach. While they were here, a few of them were very insistent that I should come to Denmark. So, when my other Slovak friend, Viki, told me that she was going there for a visit, I thought that this might be the opportune time to go along! So, for the past few days, I have been in the Bible School: being refreshed and challenged in the classes, and encouraging the students here. We have many Slovaks who are attending this school, and many who have attended in the past, so it was really good to see where it is exactly that we're sending our young people to! Everyone at the school was very welcoming and made sure that I was taken care of well! :)

Today I left the Bible school and decided to spend the day in Copenhagen before my flight leaves. I thought it would be a shame not to see the capital city! So I did. :) I haven't been this cold in a long time! The walk from the bus stop to the church, where I am spending the night, which was all of 5 min long.... I got drenched to the bone. The wind was so strong and the rain so heavy... when it hit my head it felt like hail... So, after I dried myself off and changed my clothes.. and after the rain had stopped, I ventured out into the city. I just wandered around the centre, through the pedestrian zones and to the harbour. Christina's own walking tour! It was fun, but the wind was still quite strong, and I was so cold! But, suprisingly enough, I had a great time! Copenhagen is a beautiful city, I think I'd like to come back here someday.... someday warmer! :)
